Dr. Way Lee West Islip
Dr. Way Lee is a board certified general surgeon specializing in advanced minimally invasive techniques as well as bariatric surgery for the treatment of morbid obesity and its related diseases. During his residency Dr. Lee studied with Stephen Lowry, a world-renowned surgeon. He then trained with Michel Gagne, widely considered to be the “father” of bariatric surgery.
Dr. Lee has performed hundreds of bariatric and general surgeries, including more than 300 complex bariatric procedures. He specializes in the gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, gastric banding and bilio-pancreatic diversion.
Dr. Lee is an attending surgeon at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip Long Island
